Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026 — FireEdge LLC
Summary: Phone calls placed through this service travel through several third-party infrastructure providers. Call audio, transcripts, and the information you enter are processed by those providers under their own privacy policies. This service does not sell your data.
1. What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
- Account information — your name and email address, obtained via Google Sign-In.
- Call metadata — the phone number dialed, call date and time, duration, outcome, and credit usage. This is stored in our database to show you your call history.
- Call summaries — a short AI-generated summary of each call is stored and displayed in your call history. Real-time transcripts are shown during the call but are not stored after the call ends. Call audio is not recorded or retained by this service.
- Payment records — Stripe session IDs and the number of credits purchased. We do not store card numbers or full payment details.
2. Third-Party Services That Process Your Data
Placing a call involves several external providers. By using this service you acknowledge that your data passes through them:
- Twilio (privacy policy) — routes and carries the phone call. Twilio receives the destination phone number and the call audio.
- Anthropic (privacy policy) — powers the AI assistant. The call goal, context you provide, and the ongoing conversation transcript are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the bot's responses. Safety screening of your request is also performed by Anthropic's API.
- Deepgram (privacy policy) — provides speech-to-text (transcription of the called party's voice) and text-to-speech (the bot's spoken voice). Audio from both sides of the call is processed by Deepgram.
- Stripe (privacy policy) — handles credit card payments. Payment details are entered directly on Stripe's hosted checkout page and are not seen by this service.
- Cloudflare R2 (privacy policy) — stores encrypted database backups. Your call records and account data are replicated to Cloudflare R2 for disaster recovery purposes.
- Hosting and infrastructure — the service runs on a cloud server. Server operators may have access to logs and traffic data as part of normal operations.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and manage your account.
- To place calls on your behalf and display your call history.
- To track credit balances and process purchases.
- We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
4. Data Retention
Call records, transcripts, and summaries are retained until you delete them (via the call history) or request account deletion. Account information is retained while your account is active.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@phonecallfor.me. Note that data already processed by third-party providers (Twilio, Anthropic, Deepgram) is subject to their own retention policies.
6. AI Disclosure & Transcription Consent
Every call placed through this service begins with a mandatory disclosure informing the called party that they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call is being transcribed. This disclosure is automatic, is delivered as soon as a person answers, and cannot be removed or overridden by the user. If the called party asks to stop, the agent ends the call.
Call audio is transcribed in real time and summarized at the end of the call. The audio itself is not recorded or retained by this service — only the summary, and the call metadata described in Section 1, are stored. If the called party continues the conversation after the disclosure, that constitutes consent to the transcription under applicable law.
7. The Person You Call
The person on the other end of the call is not our user and has agreed to nothing. We treat their data on that basis:
- They are told what is happening. The mandatory disclosure in Section 6 is delivered before the conversation proceeds, and the agent ends the call if they ask it to.
- Their audio is not retained. It is transcribed in real time and discarded; only the summary and the call metadata in Section 1 are stored.
- Their speech is processed by the subprocessors in Section 2 — Twilio carries the audio, Deepgram transcribes it, Anthropic generates the agent's replies.
- We do not build profiles. Call summaries are stored against the account that placed the call and are not aggregated, sold, or used to train models.
- Deletion. If you were called through this service and want the record removed, email support@phonecallfor.me with the date and number. We will delete the summary and metadata without requiring you to hold an account.
8. Calls Are Not Private
Call audio passes through Twilio, Deepgram, and Anthropic, so anything said on the call is processed by those providers. Do not share information you would not want processed by them.
In particular, do not use this service to transmit medical records, diagnoses, test results, or other detailed health information, and do not use it for calls where a legally protected record is being created or exchanged. Routine scheduling calls — booking or changing a doctor, dentist, or therapist appointment, or checking whether a prescription is ready — are a supported use of the service; the limit is on the sensitive detail you supply, not on the type of business being called.
This service is not a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate, and no business associate agreement is offered.
9. Contact
For privacy-related questions or data deletion requests, email support@phonecallfor.me.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
